Material Selection :

AISI 304 : This steel provides significantly greater creep strength, rupture strength, and oxidation resistance. Type 304 is subject to carbide precipitation in the 800°F (426°C) to 1500°F(816°C) temperature range, which causes a lot of ductility, normally presents no problem. However, where there is a corrosive environment present, the use of Type 304 L is suggested.

AISI 316 : This alloy, which is normally considered a corrosion-resisting alloy, also possesses excellent properties for use at elevated temperatures. It provides not only greater resistance to corrosive environments at elevated temperatures, but also is significantly stronger than Type 304. It is subject to carbide precipitation and where there is a corrosive environment present, the use of Type 316 L is suggested.

AISI 314 : This alloy is extensively used for belts operating at temperatures up to 2100°F(1149°C). Its composition provides a high degree of oxidation resistance at high temperatures and good carburization resistance.

AISI 310 : This alloy is quite similar to Type314 except for a lower silicon content. It is used primarily where a relatively high chromium and nickel content is needed and the belt must withstand moist corrosion.

 
1,Ordinary type
Consists of single directional spirals interwoven into the belt.
This weave is frequently used for chain drive belting,
and it is also commonly used for guards on machinery,
or as a protective barrier.
 
2,Balanced type
Consist of a series of alternating single left-hand and right-hand spirals joined together by a cross-rod. It offers a high tensile strength, excellent tracking and maximum flexibility.
Used in electric, anneal furnace, high temperature equipment, heat treat, metallurgy, transit and food industry.
 
3,Double Balanced type
Consists of a series of alternating double left-hand and right-hand spirals joined together by a straight or crimped cross-rod.
Used in metallurgy, heat treat, heavy loaded transit, anneal furnace, electric and food industry.
 
4,Rod Reinforced type
Consists of single directional spirals interwoven into the rod reinforced belt. This construction produces a very high tensile strength with very low thermal retention, full loading capacities and minimal stretch at extremely high operating temperatures.
 
5,Double Rod Reinforced type
Consists of double spirals, usually right-hand, interwoven into a double rod reinforced belt. The spirals are reinforced by a straight cross rod this type of weave has greater strength and a flatter surface for carrying small parts.
 
6,Compound Balanced type

Consists of a series of alternating left-hand and right-hand spirals fastened by a straight cross-rod. Used in food, pharmacy, dying, chemical, glasses and radio industry.
 
7,"Z" style
Featured as easy to rotate, steady, resistant to high temperature and erosion.
Well used in food, pharmacy, machinery, printing, drinking and other industries.
